Review documents obtained through various outlets including subpoenas and record requests. Prepare thorough analysis of documents for rapid retrieval of pertinent information. Draft legal pleadings, discovery requests and responses, memos and correspondence.
Document Preparation
File pleadings through State and Federal Court Electronic Filing Systems (ECF), serve via U.S. mail or electronic mail appropriately. Prepare exhibits for depositions, medication and trial, including gathering of relevant discovery and materials.
Request Records
Request copies of medical records, billing, radiology films with appropriate HIPAA documentation, tax returns, employment and cell phone records. Service of subpoenas, police reports and Federal and State public information requests.
Organization/Summaries
Medical summaries, chronologies and physical or electronic organization of medical records to ensure pertinent information is easily identifiable. Prepare deposition summaries outlining relevant testimony which may be used at trial.
Trial Preparation/Attendance
Properly manage, schedule and prepare each attorney accordingly for any mediation, deposition and jury or bench trial, including attendance for the same when requested.
Research
Extensive investigations with appropriate software to obtain background information, social media presence and postings, prior testimony and relevant positive or negative information on experts and witnesses.
